Human rights activist and 2027 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has alleged that Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has sealed a political agreement with President Bola Tinubu following the governor’s recent visit to the Presidential Villa.
Sowore made the claim in a post published on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, where he also linked the visit to the recent wave of election-related violence in Osun State.
Reacting to Adeleke’s meeting with the President, Sowore wrote:
“Gov. Ademola Adeleke @AAdeleke_01, the man who has his brains beneath his feet, has now gone to visit his preferred presidential candidate, failed Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu @officialabat. Their political understanding ‘agreement is agreement’ is now sealed!”

The activist further alleged that dozens of residents had lost their lives in election-related violence across the state, claiming another person was killed on Thursday near the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo.
According to him: “Meanwhile, nearly 50 Osun citizens have been killed in election-related violence, including another person killed yesterday, sacrificed to his spoilt brat cousin, @davido, near the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo. Shame! #RevolutionNOW.”
Sowore, however, did not provide evidence to substantiate the allegations contained in his post, and neither Governor Adeleke nor the Presidency had responded to the claims as of the time of filing this report.
Governor Adeleke had on Thursday visited President Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where he presented his Certificate of Return to the President. Details of the meeting have continued to generate political reactions, including Sowore’s latest remarks on social media.
